Lorraine here, lovely to meet you!

I've always had a love of sewing from a very young age, leading to my first job as a seamstress at Triumph International.

​

After moving to Canada in 1994 I started my own sewing business and manufactured everything from horse equipment/riding attire to scrubs and uniforms, designer clothing, sportswear ,competition dance costumes, swimwear and much, much more.

​

In 2012 my family and I moved back to the UK and soon after I started working as a Health care assistant in the Acute Medical Unit at GWH, Swindon.

​

My sister works in the delivery suite at GWH where one of the nurses was interested in getting involved in the #theatrecapchallenge. After struggling to find a company in the UK to make personalised scrub caps, I offered my sewing skills. Having provided 100+ caps to them with embroidered names and job titles, word soon spread and I received an overwhelming response to my product from near and far.

Due to the high demand for scrub cap orders it turned into a full-time job in 2018 and an industrial unit was  needed. We now supply many NHS Trusts, private hospitals as well as dental practices and veterinary clinics with bulk orders in the tens, hundreds and thousands.

​

Everything is made by us from scratch here in Wiltshire. We are honoured to be supplying our  NHS superheroes and as our tagline states, 'Not all heroes wear capes some wear caps'
